CRW (Canon RAW, CIFF-based) was Canon's proprietary RAW container before EXIF standardisation became the norm in the early 2000s. It does not define a field for shutter count metadata. The Canon EOS 10D (2003) succeeded it with the same 6.3 MP sensor but added the DIGIC processor, switched to the CR2 RAW format (with in-file shutter count), improved autofocus, and added a larger LCD. The 10D was Canon's last "enthusiast" DSLR before the professional 20D/30D lineup took over.
The 6.3 MP sensor produces excellent results for web and social media use. The EF-mount compatibility means any modern Canon EF lens works with the D60.
