The NX10 used a 14.6 MP APS-C CMOS sensor, a 3-inch AMOLED touchscreen (novel at the time), an optional external EVF (SEF-KV10V, sold separately), and shot RAW in Samsung’s SRW format. All photos used the focal-plane mechanical shutter — there was no electronic shutter option. Maximum shutter speed was 1/4000 s; flash sync at 1/180 s.

The Samsung NX10 stores the shutter count in the Samsung MakerNote section of every SRW RAW file. ShutterCount reads this value locally in your browser without transmitting the file. All Samsung NX-mount lenses are compatible with the NX10, including the original trio (18–55mm, 30mm, 50–200mm), plus all subsequent NX lenses (16mm, 20mm, 85mm, and others).
