The Canon EOS R20 does not display the shutter count in its on-screen menus. The count is written into the CTMD block within the MakerNote of every CR3 RAW file. To read it:

The Canon EOS R20 produces CR3 RAW files using Canon's ISOBMFF-based container format, the same format used across the EOS R system. ShutterCount parses the box hierarchy to locate the embedded EXIF block, then reads the shutter counter from the Canon MakerNote CTMD (Camera Tag Maker Data) block at the ImageCount offset.
The R20 follows the same CTMD block layout as recent Canon APS-C bodies (R10, R10 Mark II, R50 V). The counter is stored as a little-endian value at offset 0x086D within the CTMD CameraInfo block. All processing happens in your browser — the file never leaves your device.
Canon does not embed the shutter counter in the MakerNote of JPEG files produced by the EOS R20. Use a CR3 RAW file. If you shoot RAW+JPEG, use the CR3 side of the pair.
The R20 upgrades the R10 with a newer DIGIC X processor (from DIGIC X in the R10 — improved computational pipeline), Dual Pixel CMOS AF III with expanded subject categories, a higher burst rate, and improved video specifications.
